The portraits on display were created in 2023 as part of a book project by the Inter\u00adessen\u00adver\u00adband Contergan\u00adgesch\u00e4digter NRW e.V. (Asso\u00adci\u00ada\u00adtion of People Affected by Conter\u00adgan in North Rhine-Westphalia). For this project, those affected were photographed and inter\u00adviewed about defin\u00ading expe\u00adri\u00adences in their lives: their happi\u00adest moments, diffi\u00adcult times, and their hopes for the future.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The exhi\u00adbi\u00adtion features ten of these portraits.
