It oper\u00adates as a national expert team and is jointly supported by a health\u00adcare provider and a patient organization.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The services are primar\u00adily aimed at people with congen\u00adi\u00adtal limb malfor\u00adma\u00adtions (dysmelia), people affected by Thalido\u00admide, and people with ampu\u00adta\u00adtions. Part of the expert team lives with multi\u00adple limb differ\u00adences them\u00adselves and plays a key role in plan\u00adning and design\u00ading the care programmes.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The EX-Center was founded in 1994 and has exten\u00adsive expe\u00adri\u00adence in the treat\u00adment and reha\u00adbil\u00adi\u00adta\u00adtion of adults and children.<\/p>\n<p>In the work\u00adshop, partic\u00adi\u00adpants will gain insight into the unique collab\u00ado\u00adra\u00adtion between the non-profit Swedish Thalido\u00admide Soci\u00adety and the private health\u00adcare provider Otto\u00adbock Care on behalf of the Stock\u00adholm Region.
