Tracking the Killer with Foot and Hand
A Welsh Cosy Crime about family secrets, courage, and the search for the truth by Veronika Wolter

A mysterious mansion, a murder, and a young woman searching for her origins: In her crime novel “Tracking the Killer with Foot and Hand,” Veronika Wolther combines classic thriller suspense with a story about identity, courage, and self-determination.
Maeggan grows up on a farm in Wales. When she accidentally learns she was adopted, she sets out to find her roots. Her investigations lead her to an old stately estate, behind whose walls dark secrets lie hidden. When the Earl of Seven Oaks is found dead, the eccentric Inspector Green and his ambitious assistant Sullivan begin their investigation. Who had a motive? The supposedly loyal butler or the Earl’s son, who apparently has something to hide?
As the investigation progresses, Maeggan also becomes more deeply entangled in the estate’s mysterious history – and eventually becomes a target of the killer herself.
In addition to the thrilling crime plot, the novel addresses questions about living with physical disabilities. It shows how independence and everyday normality can intersect with physical barriers and societal prejudices.
