How can you design your home to make every­day life easier and enable you to live inde­pen­dently at home for as long as possi­ble? This work­shop presents prac­ti­cal ways to customize your living spaces—both indoors and outdoors. 

The work­shop focuses on specific solu­tions for reno­va­tions, tech­ni­cal modi­fi­ca­tions, and new purchases. These include, for exam­ple, acces­si­ble bath­rooms and kitchens, easy-to-operate windows and roller shut­ters, doors and access systems, stair­lifts and eleva­tors, as well as smart-home solutions. 

Partic­i­pants will gain an overview of vari­ous options and can seek advice on which solu­tions best suit their indi­vid­ual living situations.

So it’s not just about acces­si­bil­ity, but above all about greater safety, comfort, and inde­pen­dence in one’s own home.
