What medical services are currently avail­able for people with Contergan-related disabil­i­ties? At the coun­sel­ing and infor­ma­tion booth run by the centers of exper­tise, inter­ested indi­vid­u­als can obtain up-to-date infor­ma­tion on exist­ing and new care services. 

The focus is on the new thalido­mide consul­ta­tion service offered by Prof. Dr. Klaus M. Peters at the Univer­sity Ortho­pe­dic Outpa­tient Clinic at the Univer­sity Hospi­tal of Cologne. In addi­tion, there is infor­ma­tion about the Outpa­tient Center in Nümbrecht. 

Anja Harten­fels provides infor­ma­tion about proce­dures, respon­si­bil­i­ties, and treat­ment options, and answers ques­tions regard­ing the coor­di­na­tion of appoint­ments and services.
