Many people with Contergan/Thalidomide damage expe­ri­ence addi­tional health burdens and complaints over the course of their lives. In this work­shop, partic­i­pants will first receive a brief intro­duc­tion to the topic of secondary health conditions. 

This will be followed by time for ques­tions and open discus­sion. What complaints arise? What expe­ri­ences have others had? And what options are there for deal­ing with the changes in daily life? 

The question-and-answer session and discus­sion provide space to share personal expe­ri­ences and engage in conver­sa­tion with one another.
