A ride on the Museumstoomtram Hoorn-Medemblik takes you through the West Frisian landscape aboard a historic steam train.

This outing is also suitable for changeable autumn weather, as the train is heated and offers protection from rain and cold. The stations are step-free. For wheelchair users, there is a specially adapted carriage with a wheelchair lift, allowing them to remain in their wheelchair throughout the journey.

Good to know: From Egmond, the journey takes about 35 minutes. You should allow roughly three to four hours for the entire outing.
